Paul has traveled a long wine journey. He began drinking the great wines of the world in the 1980s; he was fortunate to drink the best Bordeaux wines, from the best vintages of the last 70 years. He quickly expanded his interest into Napa Valley wines.
Over time, Paul felt the pull to create his own wine. He started by making his own blends in Bordeaux. There, he worked alongside some of the world’s most renowned winemakers and consultants.
Turning his focus back to Napa Valley, Paul completed his winemaking studies at UC Davis. He spent years meeting with winemakers and sampling the best wines that Napa Valley can produce. After years of tasting, sampling, and blending, Paul knew he had a wine he wanted to share with others. That wine is Radical Two.
Mark‘s true passion in wine is for Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. He has been visiting the Valley for more than 20 years, meeting with winemakers and sampling the best wines in the world.
Mark’s knowledge of wines expands beyond California. He has visited the best wine regions of France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and South America. At each stop, he has studied the winemaking techniques, the art of the Vintner, and the best expressions of the world’s greatest wine grapes.
Mark’s experienced wine palate and friendship with Paul combined to create the Radical Two vision: spare no expense, have fun, and make the best wine possible.
Andrew is the winemaker in charge of all production at Merryvale Winery in St. Helena. Previously, Andrew worked in the vineyards and cellars of Harlan, BOND Estates, Promontory and The Napa Valley Reserve. Andrew, Paul and Mark work together to craft the best blend of wine possible, utilizing only the most select offerings from the best Napa Valley AVAs.
