We are excited to announce the release of our 2022 Radical Two wines. For this vintage, we produced three different Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines. The 2022 vintage is marked by an opulent, structured balance, and we stored these wines in bottle for an extra year, so you don’t have to!
It is only through your support that we are able to make and share these delicious wines. But, demand exceeds our ability to source fruit that meets our exceptional standards. Additionally, we produced half the wine in 2022 that we made in 2019, so these wines are in very short supply.
This release is limited to a total allotment of 12 bottles per buyer. Should any bottles remain after this initial release, we will allocate those bottles at a later date.
We crafted three different wines in 2022, leading off with our flagship wine: Radical Two. Just like the 2019 vintage, this wine is a blend from our Howell Mountain and Oakville sources. It shares a flavor profile with the 2019 vintage, but perhaps in a more plush framework.
We also produced a handful of cases of wine made exclusively from our Howell Mountain source. Those wines, called √2, exhibit the rich, dark fruit tones that one would expect from Howell Mountain vineyards.
Lastly, we are excited to announce an ultra-exclusive selection: a bottling of a mere few cases of wine curated from one of the most iconic single vineyards in all of Napa Valley. Wines from this vineyard regularly sell in excess of $300 per bottle, and we have less than 12 cases of this cult-like wine available. We have labeled that wine our 2022 Radical Two “Irrational.”
All of our 2022 wine expressions are drinking beautifully right now, but can be stored and enjoyed for many years to come.
